You can reset your password from the login screen.
Navigate to Account Recovery
Go to https://app.getalembic.com/users/login.
Click on Forgot your password?.
Reset Password
You can reset your password in one of two ways:
1. Enter your email in the Account Recovery form and click the right arrow.
2. If you entered the email address associated with your Alembic account, Alembic will email you an account recovery link.
If you don't receive the email, there are a few things you can do:
- Make sure you entered the same email address as it appears in Alembic.
- Check your Spam or Junk email folder.
- Make sure you can receive emails from do-not-reply@alembic.com.
- If you are using a challenge-response spam filter, make sure we can send emails to your account.
3. Click on the green Reset your password button in the email, or copy-paste the URL into your browser.
4. You will be redirected to the Change Password screen. Enter your new password (see Limitations below) and click Change Password.
SMS
1. Enter your phone number in the Account Recovery form and click the right arrow.
2. If you entered your phone number into the form, then you will receive an SMS message to your phone with a recovery code and link.
3. Click the link embedded in the SMS or select Recover with SMS code and enter the recovery code in the form shown.
4. If the code you received is the same as the one you entered, you will be redirected to the Change Password screen. Enter your new password (see Limitations below) and click Change Password.
Limitations
Your new password must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum length: 10 characters
- Maximum length: 100 characters
- Must have uppercase letters
- Must have lowercase letters
- Must have at least one number
- Must have at least one symbol
If the password does not meet the criteria, you will see an error message underneath the New Password field.
