Navigate to Link Accounts

Open the user dropdown by clicking the down arrow in the top right corner of the page.

Select Link Accounts.

 

Connecting LinkedIn to Alembic

Note: Connections to LinkedIn accounts have to be refreshed every 12 months.

Before linking your accounts to Alembic, be sure to have the correct settings in place. See the Requirements section below for more information.

1. Click Connect LinkedIn. You will be navigated to LinkedIn to log in.

2. Click Allow.

3. A prompt will appear asking you to select the LinkedIn Company Pages you would like to to authorize Alembic to connect to your account. Click the checkboxes for each page. Then click the Continue button.

4. If the linking process was successful, you will see your account listed in the Alembic Link Accounts page. On the Link Accounts page, see the first tab "Accounts you have connected to Alembic" for a full list of all the accounts you have linked to Alembic.

5. Enable the account by clicking the Disabled button to the right and hitting Enable.

Requirements

Please make sure you have the following required settings in place before linking to Alembic. Need help? See the External Resources section below for more information.

  • LinkedIn Pages only. Alembic does not pull data from LinkedIn Profiles, only Pages.
  • Super admin role required for the LinkedIn Page.

Limitations

At the time of linking, Alembic instantly backfills 11 months' worth of historical LinkedIn post data and 6 months' worth of historical LinkedIn video data.

Time series data is recorded from the time of linking, onwards. If an account becomes unlinked, all data collection stops until the account is relinked. When the account is relinked, Alembic will automatically backfill the missing historical posts and lifetime data, but no time series data will be available for the unlinked period.
