Web & Apps displays the results for all your web and app accounts. It provides detailed metrics from all connected web and app analytics sources, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
Web analytics are episodic in nature and will change over time.
Web & Apps is updated twice daily.
Navigate to Web & Apps
To view Web & Apps, navigate to the Validate page by clicking Validate in the navigation bar.
Click on the Web & Apps card, as shown below.
Web & Apps
Web & Apps opens to a multi-view, which contains the following navigation:
- Overview: This view provides a look at the various web and app metrics.
- Demographics: This view provides demographics by country, city, language, gender, and age.
- Sources & Pages: This view provides details on the sources where data originated for your website and on the pages most visited by users.
- Search Terms: This view provides the search terms tracked from your web traffic.
- Channels & Campaigns: This view provides details on your channels and campaigns.
- Apps: This view provides details on your apps.
- Conversions: This view provides predictive data from your conversion and web sources.
Overview Tab
This view provides a look at the various web and app metrics.
Total Users
Total Users is the total number of new and existing users who visited your site during the selected time period.
Unique Users (Adobe-only)
Unique Users is the total number of new and existing unique users who visited your site during the selected time period.
Total Conversions
Total Conversions is the total number of goals achieved in the time period selected, as set up on your analytics platform. Examples include free trial downloads, app sign-ups, or other key actions.
Total Transactions
Total Transactions is the total number of transactions achieved in the time period selected.
Revenue
Revenue is the total dollar value of the goals and transactions achieved in the time period selected.
Top Demographic
Top Demographic is the group most seen on your site.
Top Country
Top Country is the country with the most people visiting your site.
Top City
Top City is the city with the most people visiting your site.
Note: City data is only available for Google Analytics.
Users Graph
Users is the number of new and returning users who visited your site, broken out by analytics property or segment, during the time period selected. For Adobe accounts, you can toggle between Total and Unique via the switch in the upper right-hand corner of the graph.
Top Sources Table
Top Sources is the number of new and returning users who visited your site as referrals from another domain during the time period selected.
Top Pages Table
Top Pages is the number of new and returning users who visited your site, broken out by your website pages, during the time period selected.
Demographics Tab
This view provides demographics by country, city, language, gender, and age.
Location Totals, Gender, Age
These graphs and tables summarize available demographics. It does not include users who did not provide this information, which may result in the demographic values being less than the total audience numbers.
Location Totals & Location Totals Breakdown
Location Totals provides the demographic breakdown of your users by country in the time period by selected channels. Hovering over the individual countries will provide the total users in each country.
Note: City data is only available for Google Analytics.
The Location Totals Breakdown table provides user count (Total) by Country, City, and Language, including audience gained/lost (Change) from the prior period. You can sort the table by clicking on the appropriate column heading.
Gender & Gender Breakdown
Gender provides the demographic breakdown of your users by gender across specific age ranges (e.g., 13-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, etc.) in the time period by selected channels. Hovering over the individual age ranges will provide the percentage of men and women in each age range.
The Gender Breakdown table provides user count by gender across specific age ranges, including audience gained/lost from the prior period.
Age & Age Breakdown
Age provides the demographic breakdown of your users by specific age range (e.g., 13-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, etc.) at the start and end of the time period selected.
The Age Breakdown table provides user counts by specific age range (e.g., 13-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, etc.), including audience gained/lost from the prior period.
Sources & Pages Tab
This view provides details on the sources where data originated for your website and on the pages most visited by users.
Sources & Sources Breakdown
The Sources graph plots the top sources where the data originated for your website by user count across the selected time frame, ten at a time.
If you hover over each wave in the chart, you will see the values by source for each day. This includes the number of users on that day, the rank of the source in the time period, and the total number of users in the time period.
In the Sources Breakdown table, you can see the details for each Source, including Account, Property (= segment for Adobe), and Users.
Pages & Pages Breakdown
The Pages graph plots the top pages users visited on your website by user count across the selected time frame, ten at a time.
If you hover over each wave in the chart, you will see the values by page for each day. This includes the number of users on that day, the rank of the page in the time period, and the total number of users in the time period.
In the Pages Breakdown table, you can see the details for each Page, including Account, Property (= segment for Adobe), and Users. If your homepage is not your top page, your value proposition on the homepage is not resonating with users and you might consider reviewing the value proposition(s) on the page(s) with more users.
Search Terms Tab
This view provides the search terms tracked from your web traffic.
Paid + Organic, On-Site, First Converting Paid
Note: For optimal visibility, you may need to connect your Google Ads account to your GA4 account.
These graphs and tables summarize Paid + Organic, On-Site, and First Converting Paid, ten at a time.
Graphs
- Paid + Organic: Paid + Organic is the search term that led to the session. The results include search terms from both paid and organic searches.
- On-Site: On-Site is the search term that users searched for on your website.

First Converting Paid: First Converting Paid is the search term that first acquired the user (with ad click).
- Note: This information is only available if you are using GA4.
If you hover over each wave in the chart, you will see the values by search for each day. This includes the number of users on that day, the rank of the search in the time period, and the total number of users in the time period.
Tables
In the Breakdown tables, you can see the details for each Search Query, including Account, Property (= segment for Adobe), and Users.
Channels & Campaigns Tab
This view provides details on your channels and campaigns.
Channels & Channels Breakdown
The Channels graph plots the top channels for your website by user count (GA & Adobe) or revenue (GA-only) across the selected time frame, ten at a time. For GA accounts, you can toggle between Users and Revenue via the switch in the upper right-hand corner of the graph.
If you hover over each bar in the chart, you will see the values by channel for each day. This includes the number of users or amount of revenue on that day, the rank of the channel in the time period, and the total number of users or amount of revenue in the time period.
In the Channels Breakdown table, you can see the details for each Channel, including Account, Property (= segment for Adobe), and Users/Revenue.
Campaigns & Campaigns Breakdown
The Campaigns graph plots the top campaigns for your website by user count (GA & Adobe) or revenue (GA-only) across the selected time frame, ten at a time. For GA accounts, you can toggle between Users and Revenue via the switch in the upper right-hand corner of the graph.
If you hover over each bar in the chart, you will see the values by campaign for each day. This includes the number of users or amount of revenue on that day, the rank of the campaign in the time period, and the total number of users or amount of revenue in the time period.
In the Campaigns Breakdown table, you can see the details for each Campaign, including Account, Property (= segment for Adobe), and Users/Revenue.
Apps Tab
This view provides details on your apps.
There’s a row of App chips at the top of the page that indicate which apps are currently being displayed. This is useful for knowing at a glance what data you are seeing in the graphs.
Installs & Installs Breakdown
The Installs graph plots the number of installs of each app by device across the selected time frame, ten at a time.
If you hover over each bar in the chart, you will see the values by device for each day. This includes the number of installs on that day, the total number of installs in the time period, and the lifetime installs.
In the Installs Breakdown table, you can see the details for each App, including Device and Installs.
Revenue & Revenue Breakdown
The Revenue graph plots the revenue of each app by product by device across the selected time frame, ten at a time.
If you hover over each bar in the chart, you will see the values by product by device for each day. This includes the revenue on that day, the total revenue in the time period, and the lifetime revenue.
In the Revenue Breakdown table, you can see the details for each App, including Product, Device, Purchases, and Total Revenue.
Purchases & Purchases Breakdown
The Purchases graph plots the number of purchases of each app by product by device across the selected time frame, ten at a time.
If you hover over each bar in the chart, you will see the values by product by device for each day. This includes the number of purchases on that day, the total number of purchases in the time period, and the lifetime purchases.
In the Purchases Breakdown table, you can see the details for each App, including Product, Device, Purchases, and Total Revenue.
Active Devices & Active Devices Breakdown
The Active Devices graph plots the number of active devices of each app by device across the selected time frame, ten at a time.
Note: Active device data is only available for Google Play Store.
If you hover over each bar in the chart, you will see the values by device for each day. This includes the number of active devices on that day and the total number of active devices in the time period.
In the Active Devices Breakdown table, you can see the details for each App, including Device and Daily Active Devices.
Uninstalls & Uninstalls Breakdown
The Uninstalls graph plots the number of uninstalls of each app by device across the selected time frame, ten at a time.
Note: Uninstall data is only available for Google Play Store.
If you hover over each bar in the chart, you will see the values by device for each day. This includes the number of uninstalls on that day, the total number of uninstalls in the time period, and the lifetime uninstalls.
In the Uninstalls Breakdown table, you can see the details for each App, including Device and Uninstalls.
Conversions Tab
This view provides predictive data from your conversions. It is the same information as in the Predictions Dashboard.
